Maintenance Instructions for VETAWAN Drenchers
Storage of veterinary equipment:
Like other veterinary equipment, store the drencher in a clean, dry place when not in use. Protect it from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Disassembly:
Periodically disassemble the drencher to clean all individual parts. Almost all the parts of your drencher are screw type, which makes the assembling and disassembling relatively easy. For cleaning and lubrication kindly follow the instruction below:
Regular Cleaning:
After each use, thoroughly clean the drencher, use warm water and a mild detergent to ensure all internal and external parts are free from contaminants.
Lubrication:
Apply a food-grade lubricant, especially the olive oil, to plunger and other moving parts to ensure smooth operation and life longevity of drencher.
Replacement:
Regularly inspect the drencher for signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. If possible, replace the new parts (like nozzle, rubber ring, no return valve etc.) by ordering directly at our web-shop. In case the repair is not possible it is encouraged to order new drencher: https://vetawan.co.uk/collections/drenchers
Training of staff:
Ensure all farm staff are trained in the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of the drencher. Proper handling techniques reduce the risk of damage and prolong the drencher’s operational life.
